Switch And Turn To Improve Your Agility And Reaction Time

This is a high intensity drill that focuses on improving your agility and reaction time. You must exercise caution and make sure that you are in an environment that limits your risk for injury and gives you enough room to maneuver.

Place two cones about 30-40 yards apart. When your partner yells start, sprint towards the opposite cone. When you partner yells out “switch”, change direction and back pedal back. Your partner will do this repeatedly and conclude the drill by yelling out “turn!”, in which case you open up and turn off the back pedal and into a sprint.
